The entries I have chosen to include in my showcase portfolio not only demonstrate proficiency in academic skills, such as proofreading, technical writing, hierarchy, problem solving, and visual communication, but also illustrates my story of growth. I am proud of the fact that I continue to learn the skills of graphic design and organized my creations coherently.
Collectively, my portfolio creations are a showcase, in itself, of the many different skills I have mastered. The thing which helps me during the construction of my portfolio is the realization that the design process was much like the design process in its goal and organization, is to construct a well-crafted spectrum of avenues. Most importantly, listening to the analysis and judgement of others is given me the opportunity to be able to deliver my creative ideas with accuracy and contentment.
In closing, the design ideas included in my showcase portfolio illustrates my story of academic and personal growth. I feel assure that my skills and lessons are carrying me through my career in Emerging Media & Digital Arts. Confidence and listening to others are truly the key factor to success and perseverance with helping others attain what they need for their communication needs.
